With Dual Basic Allowance for Housing possibly going away, how are lenders calculating DTI?


Question, how are lenders looking at military couples with dual housing allowances (BAH)? My daughter and her husband are both Air Force and buying their first house in Las Vegas. The word is that the dual BAH may be discontinued soon, so are lenders calculating DTI cautiously by using only one BAH as part of total income?
