Lenders today are looking at “asset class” as another way of assessing risk to the bank. The more assets a client has is interpreted as less likely he or she will default on a loan. This allows the banks to be less stringent on the guidelines. We here at Chase Bank do 10 million dollar loans!

No idea if it will work, but could check with Suntrust on an exception basis. Know they’ll do some jumbo stuff others won’t.
