If you are paying real estate tax on the home, it has been legally attached to the property and is considered real estate. The county recorders office will have a record of when that happened (if it did). Your home should also have a serial # and manufacturing information near the electrical panel or inside cabinets in kitchen. If date it was attached to property is near manufacture date, it likely was new when it was put there.
