refinance non occupant co borrower?

I have to many deductions on my taxes and my finance doesnt show alot of income because he owns his own business. Can we have his mother added on to the refinance of the home as a non occupant co borrower?

Yes, this can be done with family members. 20% equity makes the transaction easier as many mortgage insurance companies won’t allow the non-occupant Co-borrower.
