If you were on title initially, and were still on the deed (rather than the loan) when the refinance took place, you would still have full ownership rights. You could tell by looking at the closing paperwork from the last loan. In addition, if the county assessor’s website shows both you and your husband listed as owners on the home, you’re good to go. my husband and i purchase our house as joint ownership. we then refinanced under my husband being that he could qualify alone since i’m unemployed. does the ownership stays as joint. How would i know if ownership was changed? Just don’t want to get skrewed in the future….hawaii
