If your mortgage is at the same bank that you having savings, checking etc., and if you can’t make a payment can that bank freeze or take the mortgage out of a account you have at that bank without permission??

Sure wouldn’t think so. Freezing bank accounts require legal approval such as a court order. Can’t imagine that a bank would be able to arbitrarily seize your funds without taking numerous steps first…..such as going before a judge.
