I am in a VERY bizarre situation. I saw a place I like, asking 300K. I was told by the agent that the owner is very fair and also that EVERYTHING was negotiable. I offered 280K. the agent calls me back to say the owner says NO. I asked what his counter was, she said he made none. I asked if he was insulted by my offer, she said, no. I asked if he was firm on 300K she said no. I went up 10K to 290K. That was 3 days ago, no answer. Any advice or insight please?
