And, does it drop off automatically or do you have to contact the credit bureaus?

The credit reports we pull show credit inquiries for the past 90 days. No, you do not have to request anything. I don’t know if “drop off the report” is quite the correct term, but inquiries no longer show on the report once they are over 90 days old.
