Hello,

My FHA loan was foreclosed and it all happened rather quickly with Wells Fargo. and I owed about 103,000 on it and have no idea how much it auctioned for? I live in Texas and what concerns me now is a deficiency judgement being filed against me, is this possible and if so how can i find out if there is a way to protect me from this or stop this from happening? Should i consider filing bankruptcy or contacting a lawyer? This entire thing has been a nightmare and Wells never gave me any other option as far as pre-foreclsure sale…etc

I am a Loan Officer in Utah since 1995 and I short sold my home. I did not sign a deficiency agreement. The mortgage debt forgiveness act may help us. For now try not to worry about it. Its water under the bridge, just try to exercise your good credit to help your scores…
